Today the National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education proudly announced the University of Washington Center for Health Sciences Interprofessional Education, Research and Practice as the winner of the 2017 Nexus Award. In recognition of exemplary interprofessional, team-based practice in the US, the Nexus Award celebrates those who are thinking and acting differently through innovation to connect higher education and health care.

CDC/APTR Webinar | Growth and Development of IPE at Health Professions Schools: Lessons Learned from Grantees

Join APTR for a webinar addressing interprofessional prevention education
across the health professions. A panel of APTR/CDC grantees will discuss
education innovations developed since the “Institute for Interprofessional
Prevention Education (IPE) Project.” These institutions were considered
early adopters and leaders in interprofessional prevention education in 2007
and 2008, and their IPE activities transformed over time. Grantees will

National Center Webinar Fundamentals of IPECP Measurement- Webinar 1

This webinar is designed for practitioners (educators, clinicians, administrators) who are relatively new to the tasks of assessing individual trainees in IPECP competencies, assessing IPCP team performance, or evaluating educational programs designed to improve IPECP. It serves as a companion to the NC’s primer, “Assessment and Evaluation in Interprofessional Practice and Education: What Should I Consider When Selecting a Measurement Tool?” by Connie C. Schmitz and Michael Cullen.  The primer lays out three criteria involved with tool selection: relevance, validity, and feasibility.
