Registration open for All Together Better Health VII (June 6-8, 2014)
The seventh international All Together Better Health conference on interprofessional practice and education will be held on June 6-8, 2014 at the University of Pittsburgh, Pa, United States. All Together Better Health promotes collaboration between providers, health system executives, educators, policy makers, and health care industry leaders for the betterment of interprofessionalism. The conference will focus on the triple aim of improving health care and population health while lowering costs. Specific themes within the context of interprofessional practice and education include:
HTVI: Healthcare Team Vitality Instrument
The Healthcare Team Vitality Instrument (HTVI) was developed and revised to assess team collaboration and patient safety, with a specific emphasis on team vitality. The shorter version was developed to assess the impact of interventions on team vitality.
GRPQ: General Role Perception Questionnaire
The Role Perception Questionnaire (RPQ) was developed to evaluate undergraduate healthcare students’ perceptions about the roles of other professions in interprofessional education. The GRPQ can be used to measure changes in role perception of a range of other professions.
The General Role Perception Questionnaire is a 20-item tool with a 10-point scale that is used to obtain views of the role of another profession. The GRPQ can be used to measure change in role perception of a range of other professions.
ATHCT: Attitudes Toward Health Care Teams Scale
The Attitudes Toward Health Care Teams scale (ATHCT) was developed as a pre- and post- measure or longitudinal monitor of attitudes toward health care teams among team members and/or trainees and their supervisors in clinically based team training programs.
AHPQ: Attitudes to Health Professional Questionnaire ©
The Attitudes to Health Professions Questionnaire (AHPQ) was developed to determine attitudes of health professionals towards other health professions. AHPQ has been proposed to measure how these attitudes change over time and the effect of interprofessional education.
