Impact of Chronic Conditions on Eye Health

Family Caregiving for Diverse Elders Resource Hub

The Diverse Elders Coalition has created a resource hub containing a new training curriculum for healthcare and social services providers. This curriculum will identify and address caregiving challenges faced by communities of color, LGBT communities, and American Indian/Alaska Native communities and offer tips and tools for providers looking to better serve diverse family caregivers and older adults. Free online trainings are available for organizations and community members to learn best practices in caregiving.

The Minnesota Northstar Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program shares this resource page of peer-reviewed toolkits. These toolkits provide educators with interprofessional resources for teaching introductory aging content. This material is appropriate for undergraduate and graduate-level learners. Each module includes a digital learning activity that introduces the topic to students. Each toolkit also contains teaching and learning activities and resources. Faculty can select the activities that work best for their class.
