Oral Health and the Aging Adult

This webinar given by Claire Tucker and Bridget Fitzhugh aims to educate healthcare providers about the most up-to-date information on oral health and the aging adult. By the end of this webinar, learners should be able to: (1) recognize common changes in dentition caused by aging; (2) list the benefits of having natural dentition; (3) explain the role of nutrition in the oral health of aging populations; and (4) discuss the relationship between oral health and disease processes in geriatric populations. A pre-assessment, post-assessment, and evaluation is included in this activity.

National Resource Center on LGBTQ+ Aging

The National Resource Center on LGBTQ+ Aging, a program of SAGE, is the country's first and only technical assistance resource center focused on improving the quality of services and supports offered to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and/or transgender older adults, families and caregivers. Established in 2010 through a federal grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the National Resource Center on LGBTQ+ Aging provides training, technical assistance and educational resources to aging providers, LGBTQ+ organizations and LGBTQ+ older adults.

Improving the Process with PDSA: Addressing Social Engagement
