Since the initial creation of the Healthy Brain Initiative (HBI) in 2005, HBI partners have worked together to implement public health strategies that promote brain health, address dementia and support people with dementia and their caregivers. The Healthy Brain Initiative Road Map Series guides this effort by creating a framework for public health action.

The Center on Aging, Trauma, and Holocaust Survivor Care (Center) advances the person-centered, trauma-informed (PCTI) approach for Holocaust survivors, older adults with a history of trauma, and their family caregivers. The PCTI approach infuses knowledge about trauma into organization programs, policies, and procedures to promote the safety and well-being of clients, visitors, staff, and volunteers. This website offers both resources and training.
