Delusion is defined and the causes of it are talked about briefly in this presentation but there is an emphasis on hallucinations and dementia. The different types of hallucinations, causes, and treatment of hallucination are the main focus of this presentation.

This presentation (15:15 minutes) given by Jennifer Magnani discusses surrogate decision maker which is a person who assists with making medical decisions with the medical team for someone who becomes so ill that they cannot give consent themselves. The presentation goes through the different types of surrogate decision makers which are Guardian of Person, Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care, and Legal Next of Kin. The topic of Legal Next Kin is discussed more in dept to show the order of who is selected for this role and how to declare the title.

This presentation (14:49 minutes) given by Lianne Hirano discusses the basic criteria that patients need to meet in order to be admitted into hospice. Other subtopics include the dementia criteria (FAST and medical complications) to be admitted to hospice and the criterias to remain in hospice.

This presentation (18:33 minutes) given by Beth Labardi discusses how to treat depression in late life. The objective of this presentation is to know treatment options for late life depression and the factors to consider in selecting treatment options. The treatments discussed in the presentation are psychotherapy, medications, and electroconvulsive therapy.

This presentation (26:13 minutes) given by Lianne Hirano discusses how to give advance care planning during the time of COVID-19.
