Grand rounds are an integral component of medical education. It helps doctors and other healthcare professionals keep up to date in important evolving areas which may be outside of their core practice. In the hospital or health system, they are hosted in an auditorium or symposium for everyone to gather and continue their learning. The purpose of this activity is to educate medical practitioners working in community-based care on the importance of Age Friendly Care (AFC). As Age Friendly Care continues to grow and gain momentum, community-based care can be an integral part of AFC.
