NIHAN’s Geriatric Seminar Series provides free health care education and resources to the geriatric community, by presenting topics related to the 4M’s, an age-friendly health care framework—What Matters, Medication, Mobility, and Mentation. The goal of the 15-session NIHAN Geriatric Series is to foster healthy aging for old adults, in order to create a more healthy and age-friendly geriatric community in Nevada.

This webinar discusses how function and mobility impacts patients with a focus on older adults. This webinar goes over implementation principles, strategies to create urgency in care systems, and real world examples where these techniques have been applied.

This webinar focuses on Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD). It discusses how to identify common clinical features, early signs, and types of ADRD. It helps webinar participants apply evidence-based medical and non pharmacological interventions to manage ADRD across various stages of progression. It goes over implementing wellness strategies into care plans and how to collaborate with interdiscplinary team members.

This webinar discusses how to prevent workplace burnout, manage stress, and become the healthiest you. It dives into mental health concepts, sources of stress, and wellness strategies.
