A full listing of conference workshops for Nexus Summit 2017 has just been published on nexusipe.org. We are excited to have so many outstanding partners committed to participating in #NexusSummit2017 and bringing their extraordinary expertise to attendees. In addition to the pre- and post-conference workshops, these workshops will bring a mix of thought provoking topics while providing practical skills you can bring back to your own institutions.

This week, the Health Professions Accreditors Collaborative (HPAC) added 17 new accrediting organizations to the Collaborative. HPAC is now comprised of 23 organizatons committed to working together to advance interprofessional education, practice and quality.

The Nexus Award celebrates exemplary interprofessional practice in the US and those who are thinking and acting differently where education and practice connect in health and health care. 

The award recognizes an educational institution, health system, clinic, and/or community organization for extraordinary contributions to the Nexus– linking health professions education and interprofessional practice to transform care delivery, improve health outcomes, and decrease costs.

The National Center launched its refreshed assessment and measurement collection to promote best practices within the interprofessional education and collaborative practice communities. As the National Center’s number one requested resource, the site is a gateway to measurement tools and other resources to help assess individuals, teams and work environments as well as the impact of interprofessional practice and education on the Triple Aim.

MINNEAPOLIS – East Tennessee State University has joined the National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education's Nexus Innovation Network.

As a member of the Nexus Innovation Network, ETSU is now one of 71 sites in 35 states to test new models and methods of integrating health care practice and education. Each of the 97 projects in the Nexus Innovation Network focuses on the real-world testing of interprofessional strategies with the potential to improve the experience, outcomes and costs of health care.
