The Minnesota Elder Justice Center provides support, information and resources to older and vulnerable adults and their loved ones around issues of abuse, neglect and financial exploitation. We prevent and alleviate abuse, neglect and financial exploitation of elders and vulnerable adults at no cost to participants. We provide: direct service for victims and loved ones, community education, professional education and technical support to fields working with older or vulnerable adults, and public policy and systems change. Resources include videos, webinars, lastest news, and more.

This video for healthcare professionals provides an overview of patients with delirium in long-term care settings. Information on assessing atypical symptoms of delirium is provided, including the CAM Diagnostics Delirium Algorithm, and UB-2, UB CAM screening tools. The importance of prevention is emphasized and some approaches given which can also help prevent falls. Treatment options are also presented, with an emphasis on the 4Ms and non-drug interventions. Delirium in Dementia is also discussed.
