COVID-19 Long Haulers: Pulmonary Complications: What to Expect?
This webinar presented by Anand Venkata aims to educate healthcare providers with the most up-to-date information on pulmonary complications due to COVID-19. By the end of the webinar, learners should be able to: (1) outline range of pulmonary complications after recovery from COVID-19; (2) analyse available data on pulmonary functional and radiologic outcomes after COVID-19; and (3) provide information on treatment of COVID-19 associated long-term pulmonary complications. A pre-assessment, post-assessment, and evaluation is included in this activity.
Grand Rounds: Social Justice and Equity for Vulnerable Elders
In this Grand Rounds, faculty from the UCSF Division of Geriatrics discusss four groups of elders who experience health disparities and disproportionately include minority elders: older adults in prisons, homeless older veterans, nursing home veterans with mental illness and dementia, and older adults living with HIV. The focus is on what is being done to help these groups and next steps for social justice and equitable systems to improve the lives of older persons in these groups.
