Interprofessional Healthcare Education Networking Summit: Best Practices in Curriculum Design

The Quinnipiac University Center for Interprofessional Healthcare Education’s “Best Practices in Curriculum Design” Networking Summit will bring together college and university faculty for professional networking and the opportunity to create a resource bank of evidence-based literature to support interprofessional healthcare education and generate solutions for designing curriculum.
Through this one-day, in person event, participants will better understand how to develop curriculum for students to meet accreditation standards in interprofessional healthcare education, specifically the IPEC Core Competencies as well as common terminology; curriculum design resources; teamwork and communication building through ice breaker engagement; high impact learning strategies such as gaming, simulation, standardized patients, and cases; embedding authentic examples of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and online learning opportunities. This event will be conducted in a networking format so participants can learn with-by-from and beside each other about best practices in curriculum design.
