OHNEP has developed three innovative interprofessional oral health experiences for students across health professions. These model oral health simulation and live clinical experiences are designed to operationalize the IPEC Core Competencies while building oral-systemic competencies.
Dementia Friends
This Dementia Friends information session included participants from many health science professions, educators, students, and family caregivers. The Champion trainer was Colleen Fritsch, a volunteer Master Trainer for Dementia Friends, who is skilled at offering an engaging online learning experience. In this video, Colleen Fritsch will teach how to make a dementia friendly community. Teachings will also include an understanding what is happening to the person living with dementia and how to better communicate with and support that person.

National Resource Center on LGBTQ+ Aging
The National Resource Center on LGBTQ+ Aging, a program of SAGE, is the country's first and only technical assistance resource center focused on improving the quality of services and supports offered to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and/or transgender older adults, families and caregivers. Established in 2010 through a federal grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the National Resource Center on LGBTQ+ Aging provides training, technical assistance and educational resources to aging providers, LGBTQ+ organizations and LGBTQ+ older adults.

Community health worker interventions for older adults with complex health needs: A systematic review
Background/Objectives
The number of older adults with complex health needs is growing, and this population experiences disproportionate morbidity and mortality. Interventions led by community health workers (CHWs) can improve clinical outcomes in the general adult population with multimorbidity, but few studies have investigated CHW-delivered interventions in older adults.
