In this video (17:18 mins), Dr. Paula Lester Associate Fellowship Program Director of Geriatric Medicine at Winthrop University Hospital, describes how end of life care issues such as feeding of patients with advanced dementia is a difficult and often emotionally fraught time for patients’ families and requires strong communication skills from their clinicians.
