Sponsored by the Alzheimer's Association, this website contains 12 caregiver training resources that address warning signs of Alzheimer's disease, understanding dementia types, stages and risk factors, dementia conversations about driving, doctor visits, and legal and financial planning, communication strategies, living with Alzheimer's for caregivers and for people with Alzheimer's disease, and how to respond to dementia-related behavior. Some topics are provided in Spanish as well as English.

This toolkit is a resource for understanding the AGS Guiding Principles for the Care of Older Adults with Multimorbidity. It contains several articles from the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society that outline guiding principles, a stepwise approach for patient-centered care, a pocket card, assessment tools, teaching slides, and case studies.

2020 has been declared the International Year of the Nurse and Midwife by the World Health Assembly, a World Health Organization (WHO) forum.

Nurses and midwives are recognized for their devotion to providing valuable and life-saving care in hospitals, homes and throughout the community. On the frontlines of health care, nurses and midwives are especially well-positioned to provide oral health education and screening to promote oral and overall health.

OHNEP Program Director Dr. Erin Hartnett had the honor of inaugurating the launch of the Australian Network for the Integration of Oral Health (NIOH) at the 2nd Asia Pacific Conference on Integrated Care in Melbourne, Australia on November 12, 2019. Dr. Hartnett was invited to present by the Centre for Oral Health Outcomes and Research Translation (COHORT) at Western Sydney University in Australia, where she has been appointed as an honorary Associate Professor.

It is a one-day conference held each year in early spring.  Faculty, practitioners, and students from all healthcare fields are invited.
