Interprofessional Continuing Education

This activity has been planned and implemented by the National Center for Interprofessional Practice in partnership with Kansas University Medical Center. In support of improving patient care, the National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), and the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

The National Center's intent is to provide accreditation and interprofessional continuing education credit for 16.3 continuing education credits.

 

Physicians: The National Center designates this activity for a maximum of 16.3 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™

Nurses: This activity is designed for a maximum of 16.3 contact hours

Pharmacists: This activity is designed for a maximum of 16.3 contact hours, 1.63 CEUs

Social Workers: New in 2019 - this activity is designed for a maximum of 16.3 credit hours.

Other health professions: The National Center designates this activity for a maximum of 16.3 Interprofessional Continuing Education Credits.
