I am currently working with some of my colleagues to develop a process for mapping curricular and co-curricular course offerings back to the IPEC core competencies. We are interested to know how other schools of pharmacy are implementing IPE activities into the curriculum. Specifically, we would like to know the following:

  1. How do you assess the quality of the IPE programming? (i.e. Do you use a rubric for faculty to evaluate the quality of the IPE program?)
  2. Do/how do you map the IPEC objectives back to IPE programming offered?

Use of visual and performing arts as tools for interprofessional health professions education and practice development.  Evaluation methods, funding sources, all fair game. For example, transforming with patient stories, performances, or photography

The resurgence of interest in the promise of interprofessional education and collaborative practice (IPECP) to positively impact health outcomes, requires the collection of appropriate data that can be analyzed and from which information and knowledge linking IPECP interventions to improved health outcomes might be produced and reported to stakeholders such as health systems, policy makers and regulators, payers, and accreditation agencies.
