This presentation given by Dr. Stephen Thielke, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, University of Washington School of Medicine, is part of the 2019 Winter NW Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Center's Geriatric Healthcare Lecture Series. By the end of the presentation, learners should be able to: 1) identify the risks of polypharmcy; 2) explain how to stop medications systematically; and 3) interact with patients and families about stopping medications.
