This brief from the CDC and the National Association of Chronic Disease Directors provides the most recent practical and useful data on coronary heart disease, myocardial infarction, and stroke for adults 45 years and older. Data was collected from community-dwelling adults in 2015-2017 through the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS). Action items to increase overall health are also included.
