Living in the Nexus
Submitted by National Center... on Aug 25, 2015 - 9:57am CDT
The National Center is building a Nexus within health care systems, where practitioners, communities, patients, families, educators and students collaborate seamlessly to enhance care delivery, improve population health and lower costs. Simply defined, the Nexus is a way of connecting health care practice and education – creating a true partnership and shared responsibility, conversation, language and learning.
The Nexus is coming to life at a growing number of sites across the country, where our partners in the Nexus Innovation Network are turning ideas into action and creating a practical snapshot of how IPE can be used effectively in different clinical and learning environments. Watch as members of the Nexus Innovation Network discuss the benefits of developing a Nexus at their institution.
