This article published in the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society discusses the transition of a required, in-person Interprofessional Longitudinal Clinical Experience (ICLE) curriculum to a virtual environment as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The objectives of the ICLE are to provide interprofessional education and training in clinical skills (history-taking, physical examination, oral presentation, and clinical reasoning) for entering medical, graduate entry pre-specialty in nursing, and physician assistant students at Yale University. This article also discusses the development and implementation of this virtual 4Ms curriculum using volunteer older adults.
