By the end of this presentation, learners should be able to: (1) define adverse drug reactions (ADRs); (2) identify selected risk factors for ADRs in geriatric patients; (3) discuss the role of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics in ADRs in geriatric patients; (4) identify strategies to prevent ADRs in geriatric patients; and (5) evaluate a geriatric patient case to identify and/or prevent potential ADRs.
