This presentation (58:40 minutes) by James W. Hall discusses hearing loss and the assessment and management of it. By the end of the presentation, learners should be able to: (1) describe what is meant by "presbycusis"; (2) identify three factors contributing to age-related hearing loss; (3) state the typical hearing loss pattern associated with aging; and (4) recognize the link between cognition and speech perception.
