Team Requirements
- A minimum of three individuals from at least two different professions
- Experience implementing interprofessional education and collaborative practice projects
- Desire to enhance knowledge and skills to create change within organization and practice
Team Suggestions
- Include a mix of professionals from academia and practice, who are willing to work together on an IPE/practice transformation project
- Teams can include: educators, clinician educators, healthcare practitioners, administrators, researchers, students, health/education policy and decision makers & patient, family or community organizations interested in advancing interprofessional education and collaborative practice
Team Expectations
Pre-Work
- Begin to outline your IP project with T3-IFDP project management tools
- Get up to speed with the latest interprofessional education (IPE) and IPCP articles
- Start to think about team roles for your project and stakeholders
- Complete professional development instruments
Online Experiential Training Components
- Consult with IPE experts and project management specialists about your project plan
- Ground your IP work in assessment, evaluation, and curriculum theories
- Strengthen team dynamics
- Strategize for the implementation phase of your project after the in-person program
- Practice your project “pitch” and clarify your messaging
- Network with IP leaders across the country
Year-Long Consulting & Support
- Participate in team coaching calls with T3 leadership
- Receive updates about new IPE learning opportunities (online)
- Join other T3 alumni across the country
- Attend T3 alumni events and special conference presentations and clarify your messaging
Team Registration Requirements
1. Attest that your team has experience in designing or implementing IPE and submit a short description of IPE or IPCP experience for the team members
2. Submit one team letter of support from a Dean, Chair or Administrator
3. Agree to attend the full training
4. Agree to develop and implement a site-specific team project
5. Agree to participate in a formal evaluation of the training program (including baseline and follow up surveys)
