Purpose
South Dakota Interprofessional Practice & Education Collaborative (SD-IPEC) will promote a transformational environment that endorses interprofessional competencies supporting the goals of the triple aim.
Vision
The South Dakota Interprofessional Practice & Education Collaborative (SD-IPEC) aspires to become a regional, national, and international model aligning interprofessional education with clinical practice to enhance patient experience, improve outcomes, and impact health care cost resulting in transformational care.
The University of South Dakota (USD) houses the SD Interprofessional Practice and Education Collaborative (SD-IPEC). The collaborative includes multiple universities with multiple disciplines delivering health care education and multiple practice partners providing care across the state. SD-IPEC members include:
