      Shawn McGinniss is currently a project manager and instructional designer for the Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing, where over the past five years he has overseen the professional development of over 150 faculty from 12 schools and programs of nursing across CUNY in teaching and learning with technology. Additionally, he served as the project manager of Interprofessional Training and Education at Cornell-Hunter (ITEACH), a joint public-private IPE initiative involving students and faculty from Hunter College schools of nursing, social work, and public health; and the Weill Cornell Medical College.
Shawn earned a MS Ed. in Learning, Design & Technology (LDT) from Purdue University in 2013 and a BA (cum laude) in Psychology from Pace University in 2007. His professional interests include faculty development, e-learning, case-based learning, distance education environments, adaptive web-based instruction, program evaluation, and simulation in health professions education.
