I have the privilege of working with the IPE Committee for the Health Professions at the University of South Carolina and with the subcommittee on Interprofessional Practice.  Our efforts include cataloging the IPP opportunities in our affiliated health systems and community organizations to offer a variety of experiences and explore new areas through grants and collaboration. We have committee members who participated in T3(Train the Trainer for IPE). For a second year, we have recruited students from our UofSC IHI open school chapter to participate in experiential learning in QUEST - Quality Education and Systems Training - at our clinical sites.  Our Immunology Clinic sponsors (HRSA funded) a 2 week IP student elective 4 times annually to try to increase not only interprofessional practice but also the work force for HIV care. PH/USC has been one of 9 national sites from 2016-2019 in PACER (Professionals Accelerating Clinical and Educational Redesign.)
