Dr. Pintz is a Professor at the George Washington University School of Nursing. Dr. Pintz has published and presented both nationally and internationally and her research focuses on the use of educational technology in graduate and nurse practitioner education, interprofessional education, on patient self-management of chronic conditions and on the characteristics of hospital-based nursing research programs. Dr. Pintz was the recipient of the Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) Educational Technology Award and the STTI Best in Technology Award. In addition to her faculty activities, she is a board-certified family and women’s health nurse practitioner.
