Professional History
Over the course of my career I have enjoyed the combination of teaching along with maintaining a pediatric clinic practice. I practice one day per week in a non-profit clinic that serves the under and uninsured.
At the University of Minnesota I am on faculty in the School of Nursing and I am the specialty coordinator for the pediatric areas of study (pediatric nurse practitioners (PNP) and pediatric clinical nurse specialists).
I am also the School of Nursing representative to the 1Health Team in the Academic Health Center. This team is actively engaged in IPE curriculum development.
