Andy Pollen has more than a decade of experience in corporate, agency and non-profit communication, primarily in the healthcare industry. He currently serves as a marketing communications strategy specialist for 3M Health Care's Wound Care business, providing brand-level strategy for the acute and advanced wound care portfolios. He's particularly interested in the process of wound healing and how multidisciplinary teams and patient education can lead to better outcomes for chronic wounds.
Before joining 3M Health Care, he was an account supervisor at Maccabee Public Relations and also the National Center communications manager from 2014-2015. An Indiana native, Pollen earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations and journalism from Ball State University, and he holds a master’s degree in business administration from Anderson University. Before relocating to Minnesota in 2014, Pollen offered strategic communications counsel to several business functions within Eli Lilly and Company through Borshoff, a creative services agency, and also worked in various marketing and public relations roles at Indiana University Health.
