The Center for Transformative Interprofessional Healthcare (CTIPH) at the University of Arizona designs and implements interprofessional activities, curricula, and clinical team opportunities for students and other learners.  The program is committed to developing an institutional culture and environment that supports collaborative student learning and faculty development across campuses as well as with community partners statewide.

The interprofessional education includes students, faculty and practitioners from numerous colleges, programs and organizations; including all the University of Arizona Health Science Colleges at both the Tucson and Phoenix campuses, as well as the James E. Rogers College of Law, UA Department of Communication, Campus Health Service, and the Disabilities Resource Center. For a statewide reach, IPE activities also include students and facilitators from Arizona State University and Northern Arizona University.

The program also includes community and statewide health provider sites as well as a strong relationship with University of Arizona Health Network (UAHN) and Banner Medical Center (BMC).

Signature Programs and Activities:

Years of collaboration between faculty, staff, students and volunteers have resulted in several innovative initiatives currently underway. IPEP's teaching and learning approaches are student and team-centered, use problem and project-based material as well as patient-oriented clinical scenarios and simulations.
