Since December 2012, the process redesign advisory group has provided independent, third-party observations and monthly guidance focused on bringing the vision of the Nexus to life. Advice ranges from vision, process and infrastructure to help inform strategies for process redesign of health care and education.

Defining the Field
As the field of interprofessional practice and education (IPE) rapidly emerges, the use of a shared language is crucial to success. The National Center has adopted the following terms and definitions as a way to describe IPE and our work.
