Ohio State University Veterinary Medical Center offers an extensive reading list for patient families regarding pet loss, ranging from end-of-life decisions, coping with the death of a pet and heping children cope with and deal with the loss of a pet.

About the organization: More than 34,000 pets receive health and medical care each year through our Companion Animal Hospital, by board-certified veterinarians, as well as veterinary students in their fourth year of their DVM program. As a non-profit organization, we are patient-focused and customer-centered, with our top priority making the world healthier for animals, and the families who love and care for them.
