Resource Type:
Learning Module

As part of this curriculum developed by the University of Louisville Trager Institute and the Republic Bank Foundation Optimal Aging Clinic, learners will complete five online modules designed to teach them the core concepts of geriatric care. Topics to be covered include: roles of the interprofessional team members, motivational interviewing and three case-based modules focusing on the care of an older adult with complicated comorbid chronic conditions in need of community support. These modules were created in an interactive software program which links to videos, websites and activities. These modules should be completed before clinical rotations, ICME or Critical Reflection sessions. The modules are free to access but require registration.
