Greenberg (Seton Hall University College of Nursing), and Dr. Barbara Resnick (University of Maryland School of Nursing) is designed to help nursing home administrators, infection control teams, and other long-term care staff to: 1) value the importance of immunizing residents and staff in the nursing home setting as part of standard infection control practices; 2) expain how enhanced influenca vaccine products can benefit resident health and nursing home costs; 3) identify the clinical standards in place to guide nursing home staff in immunization efforts; and 4) apply practical for creating enthusiasm around resident and staff immunization within units and across facilities.
