This activity created by the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is designed to educate healthcare providers with the most up-to-date information on supporting military caregivers. The target audience includes all healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses, pharmacists and allied health professionals who would like to learn about supporting military caregivers and how it pertains to their respective profession. By the end of this activity, learners should be able to: (1) Describe the impact of caregiving on physical, psychological, financial, and social well being; (2) List the three stages of the military caregiver journey map; and (3) List resources to support military caregivers. Continuing education credits are available upon completion.
