This activity created by the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is designed to educate healthcare providers with current information on neuroinflammation in Alzheimer's disease. The target audience includes all healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses, pharmacists and allied health professionals who would like to learn about neuroinflammation in Alzheimer's disesase. By the end of this activity, learners should be able to: (1) Recognize cellular and molecular players in neuroinflammation; (2) Summarize interplay between neuroinflammatory processes and Alzheimer pathogenesis; and (3) Discuss insights on how the study of neuroinflammation can lead treatments for Alzheimer's and dementia. Continuing education credits are available upon completion.
