This presentation (4:56 minutes) given by Traci Butler Carroll discusses adapting the Seniors Assisting in Geriatric Education (SAGE) Program to an online format due to COVID-19 and the impact it had on geriatric education among health professions students participating in SAGE. The bottom line of this presentation is that a majority of health professions students feel that telehealth visits with older adults are equally or more effective than in-person visits at offering convenience, safety, saving time, and meeting their interprofessional and geriatric learning needs.
