This presentation (1:15:18) given by Dr. Karen Clay, UW Memory and Brain Wellness Center, is part of the 2019 Winter NW Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Center's Geriatric Healthcare Lecture Series. By the end of this lecture, learners should be able to: 1) identify common safety concerns for persons with dementia and behavioral interventions to improve safety; 2) discuss evidence around quality of life for persons with dementia; and 3) identify resources in the community to improve the quality of life for persons with dementia.
