By the end of this presentation, learners should be able to: (1) describe ethical dilemmas that may arise in the care of individuals at different stages of dementia; (2) describe decision-making abilities that are assessed when determining if an individual has decisional capacity; and (3) discuss the concept of moral distress and identify risk factors for developing it.
