This presentation (53:48 minutes) given by Dr. Manoj Saranathan, Associate Professor of Medical Imaging at the University of Arizona, discusses new imaging methods in the early detection of Alzheimer's Disease. Dr. Saranathan provides a background on Alzheimer's disease as well as the basics of imaging. He also discusses imaging biomarkers by identifying current imaging techniques and new PET and MRI based methods. Finally, he discusses the future of imaging methods for Alzheimer's disease.
