Stoukides, Chief, Division of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine at the Roger Williams Medical Center, reviews diagnostic criteria and assessment tools available for Alzheimer’s disease so that health care providers can address the appropriate concerns and needs of their patients and their families. It also discusses the difference between normal and pathological memory loss as well as describes the workup and staging of pathological memory loss.
