Submitted by Minnesota North... on Jul 20, 2025 - 8:51pm CDT
This training was developed in collaboration with Metropolitan Airports Commission Customer Experience and Technical Training teams (MSP International Airport), the Dementia-Friendly Airports Working Group (DFAWG), and the Roseville Alzheimer’s & Dementia Community Action Team. Content has been adapted from DFAWG's training, "Dementia Basics for Air Travel Industry Workers," delivered to MSP and MAC employees on Wednesday, February 7, 2024. During this training, you will: 1) learn how to enhance airport customer experience and reduce travel disruption for all; 2) learn about symptoms of dementia and how they might manifest during travel; and 3) learn positive ways to interact and problem solve with a traveler with dementia.
