National Center Journal Club with Jacqueline Loversidge

Join Dr. Jacqueline Loversidge and Dr. M. Nawal Lutfiyya as they discuss influences that lead to powerful interprofessional student experiences.

The basis of the discussion is Dr. Loversidge and her co-author's 2014 article in the Journal of Interprofessional Care, which sought to uncover the pedagogical and environmental factors faculty use to help students learn interprofessional teamwork and collaboration, and what faculty thought of their teaching experiences.

Among the topics for discussion:

  • The six categories of findings identified after analyzing interviews with 32 faculty members from three Midwestern universities.
  • Curricular and structural supports and barriers to interprofessional education, as seen through the faculty lens.
  • The necessity for leadership commitment to full-time and adjunct faculty engagement and development.

At the end of the presentation, Dr. Loversidge will participate in a question and answer session with webinar attendees.

Registration is now closed. An archived recording of this webinar will be available in the Resource Exchange by March 27.
