I am originally from the Republic of South Africa, over the past 30 years I have been working as a researcher (in the laborotory and field on nutritional toxic diseases of the brain and neurovous system, ALSPDC, Lathyrism and Konzo among others), developed interprofessional, cross-insititutions collaboration and educational programs a developed and directed the neurotoxicogenomics laborotary at OHSU's Center for Research on Occupational and Environmental Toxicology (CROET) as part of a national consortiums to establish and set standards for toxicogenomics reseach in the USA. With the development of the Global Health Center at Oregon Health & Science University 7 years ago after the development of the interprofessional global heath educational course I was given the title of Instructor in Global Health and more recently because of my continued field work and workshops on neurological diseases, Instructor in Neurology. I am still developing skills and learning, I am not an expert of anything at all.
