After 35 years in the legal profession, Sheryl Ramstad earned her masters in nursing from the University of Minnesota in December of 2013. She became a registered nurse in March of 2014 and works with developmentally delayed, mentally ill, and chemically dependent adults. In addition, Sheryl Works at Regions Hospital Burn Center where she is the peer support survivor representative for the patient population. She is currently enrolled in the Doctorate of Nursing Practice program in Health Innovation and Leadership at the U of M. Sheryl is also a registered public health nurse, and is licensed to practice law in Minnesota, North Dakota, and the District of Columbia.
