Dr. Jantea is Assistant Professor of Medicine at UTHealth in Houston, TX. She received her BA in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio, her MS in Medical Education from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and MD from Baylor College of Medicine. She completed Residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Geriatrics at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and joined the faculty of the McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) in 2019. She currently serves as the Director of Education for the UTHealth Consortium on Aging and Core Faculty in the Center for Interprofessional Collaboration, where she directs several interprofessional curricular activities with a focus on aging.
