Patrick Pabian is a Professor and the Division Chair for the Division of Physical Therapy and the Associate Director of the School of Kinesiology and Physical Therapy at the University of Central Florida. He also he serves as Program Director for the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program, where he administrates all functions of the professional doctoral program and all of its related initiatives. Related duties within the Division include administration of all associated research laboratories, all clinical practice operations in the physical therapy faculty practices with UCF Athletics and UCF Student Health, and academic administration of the Anatomical Science Graduate Certificate. He earned his PhD in Higher Education, with an additional focus on advanced quantitative methodologies. He completed a year-long Fellowship in Education Leadership from the American Physical Therapy Association, and is Board-certified as both a Sports and Orthopedic Clinical Specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. In addition he is the Chair of the Florida Board of Physical Therapy, a state-level appointment which involves administration and oversight of all PT/PTA licensees in the state of Florida. He possesses an accomplished scholarly research agenda, which traverses contemporary issues in professional education, with a focus on interprofessional education and interdisciplinary patient care.
