I am an adult clinical nurse specialist specializing in advanced cardiac diseases and critical care. After working as a LPN for 10 years, I obtained my ADN from Brainerd Community College (1986), BSN from Augsburg College (2007), and my MSN from Winona State University (2010). I am currently a third year PhD student and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Fellow at the University of New Mexico Nursing and Health Policy Collaborative. My research interest include health policy related to interdisciplinary team-based care and advanced practice barriers to practice. My dissertation will be a mixed methods study of interdisciplinary team members perception of their team's structure and function in different practice settings.
