Monica Bourke is a Master’s prepared Registered Nurse at Dignity Health in Northern California. While most of her experience has been in the area of training and education, she has owned and operated two successful health care business and held management, marketing and consulting postions in nephrology, transfusion medicine, bloodbanking, biotech and home healthcare.  In the past, she was also an adjust professor at Ivy Tech Community College teaching Health Care Law and Ethics and Medical Terminology. 

Currently, Monica is the Director for Continuing Professional Development, outcomes and the Medical Library. She directs the Joint Accreditation for Interprofessional Continuing Education provider unit for the healthcare system which includes stratey and program oversight.   She works closely with system leaders to align certified continuing education to quality, safety and other key initiatives.  Monica is also an Associate Professor at Samuel Merritt University and teaches Nursing Science and Leadership in the RN to BSN Program.
